We've had a login on our properties for over a year now but this marks the start of an important chapter in our user ecosystem.
We've centralized everything under our own tech and authentication stack.
Any user that registers for free on Narcity.com, MTLBlog.com, Getmilla.com or Locals.tv will automatically have access to the entire ecosystem with the same login, across web & app.
One update in your profile across one app or website, will update everywhere.
We've also made it easier than ever to subscribe to our newsletters.
With the help of newsletter widgets across our article and home pages, users can simply sign up for our email lists and automatically get sent an invitation to create an account.
Here are some perks that logged-in users get:

- Save their favourite articles
- Personalized Daily Briefs (coming soon)
- Full access to add their creator or business accounts on Locals.tv, our creator platform
We also added an "ad-free" experience if you upgrade to a Pro account for just $5/month or donate one-time amounts of $10, $25, $50 or $100 (which 100% of that money will go towards original content production).
We have big plans for our authentication, especially around personalization and ad attribution, and we believe this was the first step towards that.
