We're Narcity Media Group.

We envision a world where everyone can live and experience the best of their city no matter their background. We believe that news doesn't need to be all negative, and that you can tell the bad and the good (ok the WOW) in one place. In fact, we believe mixing both is critical to engaging younger audiences that have become disillusioned with traditional media.

We are building the future of local media in Canada and we're excited to share our journey with you.

What we believe in

We choose our own destiny. We are not beholden to legacy publisher traditions and models.

Local first — locally and globally, we believe in the power and importance of local media.

We invest in our people and the wider creator economy. These are the people that live and breath our local communities and we work tirelessly to elevate their voices.

Bold ideas and products. Media is in constant disruption. The future belongs to media companies who can take risks and build value.
