Car2Go x Osheaga Activation

The Campaign

As an official partner of Montreal’s Osheaga Music Festival, car2go was giving all Montrealers a chance to win a day-pass to the festival by hosting a contest on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #car2gOSHEAGA.

Our job was to spread the word about the contest and to drive new member registration with their promo code.

Our strategy

Narcity Media partnered with car2go to create an editorial campaign branded around the Osheaga Music Festival to drive mass awareness and engagement for its contest and promotion.

The editorial “You Can Get Free Tickets For Osheaga This Weekwas targeted to the local Montreal audience and focused mostly on driving participation for the contest and positioning car2go as the recommended alternative mode of transport to the festival.

The story was complemented by an Instagram post on MTL Blog’s account that drove high social engagement and amplified content reach.
